We toughen up our technical team

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Steven Jones to our UK technical team.

Steven takes up the position of Technical Manager. His immediate brief is to focus on expanding our environmentally sound power generation products alongside developing the company’s hybrid technology.

Hailing from Swansea, South Wales, Steven will be travelling around the UK and Ireland, supporting our sales and technical teams. In addition, he will be sourcing new methods of producing technically advanced solutions to develop carbon-reducing equipment.

Commenting on his new role, Steven said, “I am relentlessly passionate about renewable technology, and I find it fascinating how the technology has advanced in the last few years. My goal is to help improve and develop hybrid and solar technology with Trime. My aims are to lower CO2 emissions and help to reduce fuel consumption for firms that source their equipment from the UK and Ireland hire markets.”

Paul Hay added, “We are very pleased to have Steven on board. His knowledge and his thirst to grow a sustainable range of equipment are exactly in keeping with our own values.”

Steven, who has over 12 years’ experience within the rental markets, captured the top prize in both the Workshop Manager and Hire Achiever of the Year categories at the 2022 Hire Association Europe (HAE) Hire Awards of Excellence.
