We get CPD Accredited
We are delighted to announce that we have had our first training course officially accredited by the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training service. Our second CPD training course will be available later in the year.
We can now offer a CPD-recognised training course for the UK’s No1 Lighting Tower, the X-ECO.
Entitled ‘Engineer Operation & Maintenance Training Course, X-ECO,’ this is a comprehensive hands-on training course delivered by senior technical staff from Trime UK. The course focuses on the safe operational use and maintenance of the X-ECO lighting towers. Candidates will learn about important safe pre-operational checks, site safety tips, positioning advice, control panel use, hydraulic mast operation, and manual and sensor operation. The course also includes a review of current and past lighting tower innovations together with the key benefits of using a sustainable modern alternative to traditional site lighting machinery. The course concludes with an informative and interactive Q&A session, finalising with a final short test paper relating to information given during the training course.
Each candidate will receive a formal certificate, confirming their successful participation in the course.
CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development and is the term used to describe the learning activities professionals engage in to develop and enhance their abilities. CPD is a holistic approach towards the enhancement of personal skills and proficiency throughout a professional’s career. CPD has members in over 100 countries and is growing. (https://cpduk.co.uk/).
The X-ECO has several environmental qualities and safety aspects. The set is fitted with the AMOSS safety system, which automatically lowers the mast if the lighting set’s handbrake is released whilst the mast is still erected. The complete unit features an external emergency stop button, a fully bunded fuel tank, four height-adjustable stabilisers and site levels for guidance during deployment. The energy-saving LED lamps will work for prolonged periods without needing replacements.
