Speedy invests in our eco-centred emission-free lighting towers
Speedy Hire, the UK and Ireland’s leading provider of tools, specialist equipment, and services, has responded to the increasing demand from the construction and event markets for fossil-fuel-free powered equipment with the purchase of a further one hundred of our X-SOLAR lighting towers.
Speedy previously invested in one hundred X-SOLAR sets, and following impressive feedback from their clients, Speedy decided to continue to equip their lighting tower hire fleet with an increasing number of Trime products.
The X-SOLAR lighting tower is an emission-free and noise-free lighting tower fitted with four 60-watt energy-saving LED lamps fitted to a fully galvanised 8.5-metre mast. The X-SOLAR delivers a light coverage of 2000 square metres and will provide excellent illumination 24 hours a day 7 days a week, in most regions. The X-SOLAR has a central lifting eye and four height-adjustable stabilisers with a front jockey wheel. It has certified wind stability up to 80 km/h, making it ideally suited for the hire markets. Trime also offers some optional features for the X-SOLAR including; a telemetry system for remote location and operational monitoring, an automatic start-up PIR operation, and handy dimmable lighting.
Speedy customers were impressed with the lighting coverage, build quality, and advanced design of the X-SOLAR units. In addition, Speedy managers are taking advantage of our online spare parts ordering system and Trime’s ongoing technical training activities. This enables Speedy to maintain a smooth and reliable back-up service to their clients throughout the UK and Ireland.
The X-SOLAR will be used on car parks, trackside projects, outside events, and major infrastructure projects such as HS2.
