The judges said, “Energy efficiency and reduced carbon emissions were a feature of all of the shortlisted products, but Trime’s genset stood out as a product designed for the rental market.”
Our MGTP 24000/30 THS 24kVA generator (https://www.trimeuk.com/generators/hybrid-line-0-2-0) provides continuous emission-free power (when operating solely via its inverter system), backed up by the latest fuel-efficient water-cooled diesel engine which automatically charges the batteries and then shuts down when the batteries are fully charged. The set is fitted with an MRS 16 intelligent touch control system which monitors the power generated from the solar panels, battery charge status, fuel usage, and operating load. An operator can observe the generator’s status remotely via an in-built telemetry system from a PC, tablet, or smartphone. An operator can save up to 89% in terms of emissions, and fuel costs when compared to a standard generator of the same size and power outputs. Trime’s MGTP 24000/30 THS has a much longer lifespan than an equivalent standard generator.
The European Rental Awards (https://eurorentalawards.com/) were held on the 4th of June, 2025 in Dublin, Ireland. The awards celebrate the creativity and innovation in Europe’s equipment rental industry, and, according to the organisers, are the most prestigious awards event for the industry.
