Celebration Time - Trime UK and our X- ECO HYBRID LITHIUM lighting tower are finalists in the 2025 Hire Awards of Excellence

awards logoThe sound of celebratory champagne corks popping has been heard at our new Huntingdon headquarters, and the reasons for these jubilations are two-fold.

The Hire Awards of Excellence have just been announced and Trime UK has been selected as a finalist in the Hire Supplier of the Year. In addition, our flagship sustainable lighting tower, the X-ECO HYBRID LITHIUM has been chosen as a finalist in the Hire Product of the Year class.

Organised by the equipment hire trade association, the Hire Association Europe, the Hire Awards of Excellence celebrate the amazing achievements of hire and supply companies across the UK's plant, tool, equipment and event hire industry.

X-Eco-Hyb_lithium_nera_6x150We have proudly been supplying the UK and Ireland hire markets since its inception in 2016. The hire markets make up around 85% of their turnover, and as a consequence the hire industry has played, and will continue to play, a significant role in the growth of Trime UK Limited.

The X-ECO HYBRID LITHIUM lighting tower is powered by advanced lithium battery technology that can be fully recharged in less than three hours. This means that in a ten-hour cycle, for 80% of the operation, the X- ECO HYBRID LITHIUM is powered exclusively by its batteries, and therefore emits zero noise and zero carbon emissions.

Commenting on this accolade, Paul Hay said, “This is a tribute to the sustainable qualities of the X- ECO HYBRID LITHIUM. This lighting set is already very popular with the UK and Ireland hire firms who want to offer their clients a low-emission and cost-saving product. We are very proud that the X- ECO HYBRID LITHIUM has been selected as a finalist and this confirms our testament to continually innovate sustainable products.”

The Hire Awards of Excellence 2025 will be held on Saturday 12th April 2025 at Grosvenor House, London and hosted by comedy actor and entertainer Alex Macqueen.
