Equipment rental specialists, ACE Plant have expanded their fleet of Trime lighting towers, with the addition of forty X-ECO HYBRID LITHIUM units. This new investment complements their existing fleet of sixty X-ECO LED sets. Now with a total of one hundred of our products ACE plant is primed to deliver safe, bright and sustainable lighting to construction sites and outside events.
Commenting on this latest investment, ACE Plant’s George Wheeler said, “We have dealt with the Trime brand for some time and we feel that their products are the best in the market-place. We appreciate the connectivity and telemetry systems built into these units. Being able to control the lights via an iPad has also proven to have been very beneficial for some of our customers.”

They also value the aesthetic characteristics of the Trime lights, which means that they do not look out of place in event settings,” added George.
The X-ECO HYBRID LITHIUM is an LED lighting tower that is powered by a combination of a lithium battery backed up by a small fuel-efficient Yanmar 1500 rpm 2-cylinder diesel engine. There is a 50-litre fuel tank which is fully bunded, guarding against spillage and leakage. The X-ECO HYBRID LITHIUM can be fully recharged in less than two hours. This means that for 80% of the operation, the X-ECO HYBRID LITHIUM is powered exclusively by its batteries and therefore emits zero noise and zero carbon emissions.
The X-ECO LED is the mainstay of numerous lighting rental fleets. Both the X-ECO LED and X-ECO HYBRID LITHIUM are fitted with the AMOSS safety system, which automatically lowers the mast if the lighting set is moved whilst the mast is still erected. They feature an external emergency stop button, four height-adjustable stabilisers and site levels for guidance during deployment.
