Four of our X-ECO LED lighting towers have made the short trip across to the Channel Islands, following a new investment in site lighting, from the Islands’ leading rental specialists, SGB Hire.

The X-ECO sets will update SGB Hire’s existing fleet of lighting products, providing a more comprehensive range of illumination options to their clients on the Islands.

Commenting on this latest investment, Jon Herbert, General Manager (Channel Islands) said, “Before we decided upon the Trime sets, we looked at various other units including other LED types. However, we liked the unit and the performance information covered our needs.”

With efficient performance at the core of its development, we have calculated that the X-ECO LED uses approximately £336.00 less in fuel each month when compared to many traditionally illuminated lighting sets. Its sturdy, robust design is built to withstand the rigours of the rental markets.

“We also liked the eco-friendly aspect of the lighting towers as this is very important to us and a key driving force in our plant purchase decisions as we move forward. The performance and user friendly aspects of the units are what we anticipated they would be. We also like the reduced fuel consumption and more environmentally friendly operating of the units,” added Mr. Herbert.

SGB Hire will be carefully monitoring the utilisation of the X-ECO LED lights and inviting feedback from their clients on the performance of the sets.
